How do I install Reservations?

Welcome to Reservations! You can install Reservations into your Slack workspace in 4 steps

  1. Setup a dedicated channel you would like to use Reservations in and add the required users (eg #Auckland-Parking)

  2. From the Reservations login screen, click Sign In with Slack

  3. Review the user permissions and click Allow

  4. Review the workspace permissions and click Allow

Reservations is now connected to your Slack workspace 🎉

How do I setup and use Reservations?

  1. Follow the instructions above to install Reservations on your Slack workspace

  2. Add Reservations to the channel you have created. You can do this by tagging @Reservations in a message or via the channel settings

  3. Navigate to the Channels tab in the web portal - you will now see your Slack channel appear.

  4. Click Manage and update the asset name field to what you would like to share ie Carparks

  5. Use the add button to add all of your assets and set the default owner if they have one. A default owner will automatically be assigned this asset everyday however can free it when not in use.

  6. Click Save once all your assets have been added.

  7. Setup is now complete and your team can start using Reservations from within the Slack channel. You can see all the available commands by sending @Reservations help.

Repeat this process if you would like to set up Reservations in multiple channels for different assets.

What commands does Reservations understand?

  • @Reservations help - displays quick help in Slack

  • @Reservations action date

    • Actions

      • list or show - use to check availability

      • claim <asset name> or reserve <asset name> - use to claim a asset

      • free - use to un-claim a asset

    • Dates

      • DD/MM/YYYY

      • from DD/MM/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY

      • today or tomorrow

      • monday - name of day, will use the next occurrence of that day

    • Examples

      • @Reservations list monday - lists all available assets for the next monday

      • @Reservations claim park10 31/10/2022 - claims asset "park10" on October 31st 2022

      • @Reservations free tomorrow - free's any claimed assets tomorrow

Billing

How do I begin a free trial?

Get started on Reservations by starting a 7-day free trial of our Pro plan. Your card will not be charged until the trial finishes and you can cancel or downgrade at any time if required. If you follow the link on setup you only need to do step 3

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Billing

  2. Click Payment Method & Invoices

  3. Click Add payment method and then enter in your card details. You can also update your billing information such as email and address to appear on your invoices.

  4. Once completed click Return to Reservations

  5. You will now be displayed plan options. Click Choose Pro to begin your 7-day trial

How does billing work?

Your subscription, payment methods & invoices can be viewed via the Billing page in settings.

Here are a few things to know:

  • To setup your payment method and begin your 7-day free trial of Pro, follow the steps above

  • All pricing is in USD & tax exclusive

  • You can view and download all invoices as well as update your payment methods by clicking Payment Method & Invoices

  • If you cancel your plan during your billing cycle, you will continue to have access to those features until the end of your billing cycle
